TwitereNobis is a computer program that tweets us random verses from Jewish, Christian, and Islamic Scripture. The name comes from the Latin invocation 'Agnus Dei qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis', meaning 'Lamb of God, you who take away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us'. The three faiths believe in one and same all-merciful God. TwitereNobis recites Scripture in order to expose the obvious truth that religious arguments for religious wars are false. Sources: The King James Version of the Bible, and the English translation of the Quran by Muhammad Habib Shakir. The project has found that 42.2% of Old Testament verses, 50.9% of New Testament verses, and 51.1% of Quran ayat agree with twitter's 140-character dogma. The entire books are available for browsing through clicks. This is the first complete syncretic edition of these hypertexts on the web. |
